  10. @ To run the demo without any sound, use at commandline :
  11.           C:\> DEJAVU -C0
  12.  
  13. @ The demo detects SoundBlaster - SoundBlasterPro - SoundBlaster 16
  14.   Pro Audio Spectrum (16,++,normal) automatically ! Nevertheless, you
  15.   can force the demo to run with commandline options. (see DEJAVU -?).

  17. @ To force the demo in DAC/COVOX mode, use commandline option -C6.
  18.   However..we DO NOT RECOMMEND you to do that, the music quality is
  19.   practically 0 % (on a slow computer, that is).
  20.  
  21. @ The autodetection *sometimes* failes with SBPro, mixing up with PAS16.
  22.   The music will stall. Force the demo via commandline option.

  24. @ memory requirements : you need at least 590 Kb (let's say 600!)

  26. @ About README.EXE. To increase speed the of the writer, start the README.EXE
  27.   file without your turbo on! Once started, put the turbo back on, you'll
  28.   see (and hear) the difference. This effect also works counterwise.
  29.   For nosound , use commandline :  C:\> README nosound

  31. @ The demo consists of 7 parts, all linked together, to form one .exe file.
  32.   Between every part, there will be a cursor (god, we hate that cursor!), our
  33.   apologies for that! (mind you, we tried EVERYTHING!!!).

  35. @ We tested the demo on a 386/20SX with COVOX (like JOEY's cpu..) and strange
  36.   things happend. The music sometimes HANGS,HOWLS,SOUNDS_LIKE_SHIT,etc...to 
  37.   say it crude...the demo runned like SHIT! Our apologies for that too! 
  38.   (in fact, JOEY and LORD HELMET are rather ashamed b'cos of that!).

  40. @ There is no music in the FRACTAL part (due to the vast amount of CPU-speed
  41.   and MEMORY required). (and again...shame took upon us!).

  43. @ On a 386 the music is played at :
  44.         16 Khz (all sound cards)
  45.         10 Khz (DAC/Covox)
  46.   On a 486 the music is played at :
  47.         22 Khz (all sound cards)
  48.         14 Khz (DAC/Covox)

  50. @ In the lenz part, use function keys F1 tru F3 to change the lenz strenght!
  51.   If you do not have a mouse installed, this part will be skipped (oh, what a
  52.   shame!!).
